SOFTENING BUT ABOVE AVG SALES CONTINUE INTO NOVEMBER
NL home sales are down 13.8% from Nov last year however 28.6% above the 10-yr avg for the month of Nov.
The benchmark avg price for single-family homes in St. John’s was $328,300 advancing 6.2% on a yr-over-yr basis.
There were 590 NEW residential listings in Nov 2022, the lowest number of NEW listings added in the month of Nov in more than a decade!
ACTIVE residential listings numbered 2,378 units at the end of Nov, a big decline of 30.6% from the end of Nov 2021. Active listings haven’t been this low in the month of Nov in over a decade, 42.7% below the 10-yr avg for the month of Nov.
